You can ask us to close your login. We do not delete your student record.
Your login and your record are different things
Your login is your email address and password, or your Google sign-in. It is how you open the USLING website and the USLING app.
Your record is what the school holds about you: your application, your classes, attendance and grades, your payments, the agreements you signed, and your immigration documents.
Closing your login means nobody can sign in as you any more. It does not remove your record.
What you can ask for
- Close your login. Your email address and password stop working on the website and in the app.
- A copy of your information. We send you what we hold about you.
- A correction. Tell us what is wrong and we fix it. Records that cannot be changed, such as a signed agreement, get a correction recorded beside them.
Deleting the app from your phone does not close your login.
What we keep, and why
We keep your record after your login is closed, after you finish your studies, and after you ask us to delete it. We do not delete it.
- Your application and the documents you uploaded with it.
- Your immigration records: your SEVIS ID, Form I-20, immigration status, and copies of your passport, visa and I-94.
- Your classes, attendance, grades, speaking practice hours and coursework.
- Your payments, your receipts and the agreements you signed.
- Records copied from our earlier systems.
USLING enrolls international students with the approval of the US government. Schools that do this must keep each student’s records and show them to government officials when asked — sometimes years after the student has left.
Your record also protects you. You may need it later for a transcript, a letter, a transfer to another school, or a new visa application.
If you are still studying with us
You need your login for your classes, tasks, attendance and payments. Closing it does not end your enrollment, change your I-20, or cancel anything you owe.
If you want to stop studying at USLING, talk to the school first. Closing your login is not how to withdraw.
How to ask
Email registrar@usling.edu. If you can, write from the email address we have for you, and tell us:
- your full name,
- your student number, if you have one, and
- what you are asking for: to close your login, a copy of your information, or a correction.
What happens next
- We reply within 30 days of receiving your email.
- If you wrote from an email address we do not have for you, we ask you to confirm who you are before we do anything.
- We do what you asked, and tell you when it is done.
- When we close a login, we also tell you what we keep and why.
Sponsors and family members
Sponsors do not have a USLING account. If you gave us information as a sponsor and want to ask about it, write to the same address.
